I love to draw and have maintained a daily drawing habit since 2019. But...

It took me over a year to pluck up the courage to draw human figures in my sketchbooks. I thought I might be able to avoid them but curiosity got the better of me.

How could I create a daily narrative in my sketchbook and not include the people that make up life around me?

Wouldn't it be amazing to be able to draw humans as efficiently as other subjects? And then came portraits and capturing my family's likeness...

So, I started to explore how I could get back to basics in exploring the human form step by step. There are so many extraordinary elements that have to come together when drawing the human form that naturally progress on from the drawing basics. 

I quickly came to realise that learning about capturing the human form is an ongoing process of learning and practice. 

After a year of testing materials the Being Human Drawing Hub has been born! Now into its third year the resources available for the community are growing year on year!
