Designed by urban regeneration specialist Muse Developments and built by Morgan Sindall, I seem to be having a love affair with a building from the very first moment I clapped eyes on it, just a little over a year ago. It wants to communicate with you at every opportunity and begs to be loved. I cannot help but smile at this belligerent and persistent way in which it captures my attention.
This moody ark of a building can change colour like a chameleon in the space of time it takes to drink a cup of coffee sitting on Sovereign Square. And believe me…I have sat on that square in winter, spring and even summer (in a deck chair put out by Leeds City Council watching the yoga unfurl around me). This building gives a unifying nod to the urban landscape that it inhabits and is a fitting home to one of Britain’s best known professional service firms.
